Privacy policy
How the current Fairytool website handles visitor information, technical logs, cookies and enquiries.
Last updated: 13 August 2026Information visitors provide
The contact form collects a name, work email, enquiry type and message. Visitors may also provide a phone number and company or organization. This information is submitted only when a visitor chooses to send an enquiry.
Do not send sensitive personal, financial or confidential information through the website enquiry form unless Fairytool specifically requests it through an appropriate channel.
Technical information
The website is delivered through hosting infrastructure that may process standard request information needed to serve and protect the site, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and timestamps. Hosting providers may retain operational logs under their own policies.
To limit contact-form abuse, the website temporarily stores submission timestamps under an HMAC-derived identifier based on the request connection. The rate-limit record does not store the raw IP address, name, email address or enquiry message.
Cookies and analytics
Fairytool does not currently add analytics, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies to this website. Essential delivery infrastructure may use technical mechanisms required to provide or secure the service. This notice will be revised if tracking or analytics is introduced.
How information may be used
Information received through the contact form or another approved channel may be used to understand an enquiry, respond to it, assess a potential project, maintain appropriate business records and protect the security of Fairytool systems. The website form does not subscribe visitors to marketing communications.
Sharing and service providers
Information is not described as being sold. Enquiries are delivered through Fairytool's website hosting and email infrastructure and may be handled by service providers supporting those systems, or disclosed where required by applicable legal process.
Retention
Information should be retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was received, related business records, security needs or applicable legal obligations. Specific retention periods may depend on the context of an enquiry.
Security
Fairytool takes a security-conscious approach to technical boundaries and access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and this notice does not make such a guarantee.
Visitor choices and updates
Visitors may choose not to provide information through the website. Questions about this notice or an enquiry may be sent to hello@fairytool.com. This notice may change as the website, contact channels or data practices evolve; the updated date above will identify the current version.
